About Yodo1 Games
Yodo1 is one of China’s leading publishers for both mobile and PC games. Founded in 2012, Yodo1 has grown from a China market-entry specialist to a renowned global games publisher, amassing over a billion downloads worldwide. Despite Yodo1’s growth over the last seven years, our team prides itself on maintaining our indie spirit whilst fostering close knit relationships with all of our development partners. We work closely with small Western studios to transform their titles into top-charting games on platforms including the Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam, and the hundreds of Chinese app marketplaces.
Yodo1 has worked with a number of renowned game developers to help build brands and create fresh and innovative worldwide hits:
Transformers: Earth Wars: In a joint partnership with London studio Space Ape and multinational company Hasbro, Yodo1 was presented with and secured a key opportunity to work with a Triple-A IP, successfully bringing one of the world’s top performing SLGs to China.
Hand of Fate & Hand of Fate 2: Teaming up with Defiant Development, Yodo1 turned these highly acclaimed indie titles into Chinese hits with their culturalization and marketing efforts. The partnership between Yodo1 and Defiant is now seven years strong and counting.
Ski Safari: Another of Defiant Development’s original creations – Although less known in international markets, Ski Safari has become an evergreen brand in China with over 300 million downloads country-wide.
Crossy Road: Partnering with another pinnacle of Australian indie talent, Yodo1 worked with two-man team Hipster Whale to bring this arcade runner to a global audience of over 300 million players.
Rodeo Stampede: From zero to over 160 million downloads. Yodo1 joined forces with the creators at Featherweight Studios to turn this high-jumping endless rodeo runner into a continually growing worldwide phenomenon.
