WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Yodo1 is looking for a Financial Analyst (Associate) – AI Enablement to support business performance analysis and help modernize finance workflows using AI tools.

This is a finance-first role designed for a high-potential analyst with strong modeling and profitability fundamentals—someone who is AI-native and comfortable using modern AI tools to improve speed, quality, and scalability of finance work.

You will report directly to the Lead Financial Analyst and partner with finance and accounting stakeholders across our Chinese and overseas entities.

This role has a clear growth path toward senior finance responsibilities and broader business partnering.

WHAT WE EXPECT

You will:

Financial Analysis & Business Modeling

• Support monthly/quarterly business performance analysis, focusing on revenue, cost drivers, and profitability

• Build and maintain financial models to improve visibility into margins, efficiency, and business outcomes

• Partner with the Lead Financial Analyst on planning, forecasting, and management reporting

AI Enablement & Workflow Modernization (Finance-Led)

• Use AI tools to streamline recurring finance workflows (e.g., report preparation, variance analysis, commentary drafts, data reconciliation support)

• Improve the consistency and structure of finance inputs/outputs so work is easier to automate and scale

• Identify repetitive manual tasks and redesign them with AI-assisted processes (tools-first, coding not required)

• Document new workflows and help ensure the team can adopt and maintain them

Reporting & Communication

• Produce clear, decision-useful reporting outputs for finance leadership and stakeholders

• Translate between Chinese and English contexts when needed (documents, reporting discussions, cross-team coordination)

• Help standardize definitions, metrics, and templates across teams/entities for cleaner reporting

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field

• 3+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, business finance, or related roles

• Strong understanding of financial statements and profitability mechanics (P&L drivers, margins, cost behavior)

• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, pivots, structured analysis; Power Query a plus)

• Hands-on comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work (LLMs, copilots, AI assistants/agents)

• Native or near-native Mandarin Chinese (required)

• Fluent English (required)

• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment

You might have:

• Experience in gaming, tech, fintech, or fast-scaling environments

• Exposure to multi-entity finance environments (China + overseas)

• Familiarity with BI/dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau)

• Experience improving reporting templates, standardizing metrics, or redesigning finance workflows

• Passion for mobile games
