Welcome to the Roughnecks! 28 years after it became a science fiction cult classic, Starship Troopers is coming to the popular mobile game Age of Stellarians.

Powered by Yodo1 Licensing, the anticipated crossover event launches on June 19th, giving players the chance to save the galaxy from the fearsome Arachnids, also known as the Bugs.

What to expect from the Age of Stellarians x Starship Troopers event

Since Ruyi Jingxiu and Sony first teased the Starship Troopers crossover, players have been clamoring to fight under the guidance of legendary pilot Carmen Ibanez and take on the Bug horde.

Now that the collaboration is finally live, here’s what players can get up to:

• Carmen’s arrival: Players among the Stellar Battlefield ranks can train as Mobile Infantry under the command of fan favorite Carmen Ibanez.
• Arachnid invasion: The Brain Bug is back with a full-scale invasion. Players can plunge into intense battles to repel overwhelming waves of Bugs.
• Legendary vehicle: Relaunching after decades in the hanger, the Rodger Young Corvette Transport is now available as Rodger Young base skin. Players can complete in-game events to claim the ship for free.
• Exclusive theme server: Age of Stellarians is opening a dedicated Starship Troopers-themed server. Players can join squads of Commanders for epic battles and complete bounty missions for a chance to win up to 50,000 RMB in cash prizes.
